'Plan of the farm of Wood, in the parish of Edzell, the property of the right honourable William Earl of Panmure'. By William Panton, M A, surveyor. [1:3600] No scale 434 x 564 mm Ink and colour wash. Compass rose. Watermark. Linen backing. Farm plan coloured to show infield, outfield and moor. Township of Wood, cottown and bridge 'The Ganichy (Gannochy) bridge built on rocks of a terrible height' noted. Names of adjacent farms and lands of Sir David Carnegy, Bart. Table of contents. Note: 'The relics of a very antique stone dyke go round the marches of this farm, on every side, save that which lies conterminous to the river'. |
