Whereat Alexander protested that no action of miln multures should be against the tenants of the lands of George McCulloch in view of an action thereanent depending before the Lords of Council and Session. To which it was answered by Patrick that he only insisted against the truants for the crop of 1682 and in time coming which was not included in the action before the Lords. Alexander then protested that the cour ought not to be prejudicial to a pact between the said Patrick McDowell and James McCulloch of Mule anent the multures of Mule, whic paction either by word or writ Patrick denied. Lastly Alexander protested against Patrick being infeft in the sixteenth corn furth of the lands of Evinshanks in respect that the lands were only liable to the [blank]
To which Patrick replied that the miln and multures were disponed to him by Gordon for the sixteenth corn out of Evinshanks and he was therefore in bona fide to pursue for the same.
