Title |
Instrument of Sasine under the hand of Robert Park, clerk, of the diocese of Glasgow, notary public, following upon and narrating the precept of sasine in a heritable bond (dated 20 January 1779) by William Stalker, late printer in Glasgow, now portioner in Inchnoch, whereby he bound and obliged himself to infeft John Anderson, late of Little Govan, now residing at Grahams Square near Glasgow, in an annuity of £25 sterling furth of one-third part of the forty shilling lands of old extent of Inchnoch and of the forty shilling lands of the same extent of Gayne, lying in the parish of New Monkland and sheriffdom of Lanark, which was allocated to the deceased Christian Hay, wife of the deceased Andrew Stalker, bookseller in Glasgow, by, and particularly described in, decreet arbitral following on submission entered into between the said Christian Hay, Margaret and Rebecca, her sisters, and John Whyte, depute clerk of Session, husband of Margaret. Sasine given on 1 February 1779 by Charles Logan, workman in Glasgow, bailie of the granter, to Alexander Robertson, senior, workman in Glasgow, attorney for the said John Anderson |
