Title |
Instrument of Resignation under the hand of Thomas Baillie, W.S., notary public, narrating that on 6 August 1768 John Herriot, one of the macers of Exchequer, procurator for Sir William Augustus Cunynghame of Livingstone Bart., compeared in presence of the Lords Barons of Exchequer and there, in virtue of a procuratory of resignation in a disposition by Sir William in favour of himself dated 14 July 1768, resigned into their hands in favour of Sir William and the heirs mentioned in the destination the lands of Whitburn, Little Blackburn, Longdales, Ballzions and part of the barony of Martnahame all as described in No. GD86/954. The following heirs are mentioned in the destination viz:- Margaret Cunynghame, his youngest sister, Susan Cunynghame, his eldest sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Cunynghame, relict of Bruce Whitfoord of Dunduff, and Captain George Freeman Cunynghame of the second troop of Horse Guards |
