Memorandum from Lady Stirling, sister of the late George Stirling of Herbertshire, for the opinion of Mr. Watt regarding the casualty payable to John Gilmour, son of Robert Gilmour and Agnes Young, on the granting of a charter of confirmation confirming (1) disposition (dated 13 September 1756) by John Young of Risk, his uncle, to him, in fee, and to the said Agnes, in liferent, of the lands of Risk and Holehouse, and a proportional part of the corn mill of Herbertshire, all part of the barony of Herbertshire, and (2) Sasine following thereon, dated 9th March and registered P.R.S. Stirling 1st April 1757; with opinion endorsed thereon. Date on back, 1765 |
