Title |
Instrument under the hand of William Lard, presbyter of the diocese of Glasgow, notary public, narrating that Harbart Kyrkpatrik, brother german of John Kyrkpatrik of Rokelheid, uncompelled and of his own free will for certain favours done to him by Alexander Kyrkpatrik of Kyrkmichell, knight, his kinsman, gave and granted to him the right which he had, or might have in time coming, in the forty shilling lands of Dungawell of old extent with pertinents pertaining to him in virtue of a tack made and to be made to him by the abbot and convent of Melros; obliging himself his heirs, executors and assignees never to molest trouble or disturb the said Alexander and his heirs or their tenants in their peaceable occupation of said lands under pain of perjury and of being declared incapable (inhabilitas) and of the loss of all their goods moveable and immoveable, present and to come.
