Title |
Submission by Alexander Chancellour of Shieldhill and Thomas Henderson, portioner of Elsrukle, residing at Huntfield, whereby they refer to Alexander Snaip, tenant in Arthurshield in the parish of Libertoun, arbiter for the said Alexander Chancellour, and to George Watson, tenant in Newmains of Shieldhill, arbiter chosen for the said Thomas Henderson, with John Sommervell, tenant in Baitlaws, as oversman, to decide the share and proportion of Chancellor's part of the commonty of Biggar which falls to the mailing in Cormistoun called the Mains-mailling (possessed by James Young), excambed by Chancellour with Henderson for the lands of Huntfield.
