Title |
Instrument of Resignation and Sasine under the hand of Gavin Ros, Master of Arts, clerk of the diocese of Glasgow, notary public, narrating that Patrick Cunyghame of his own free will resigned (1) an annualrent of thirteen shillings and four pence Scots furth of the back tenement of Stephen Prestoune, lying in the burgh of Air near the tower on the west side of the High Street, between the common vennel formerly called the Foule Venell on the south and the tenement of Nicol Colquhone on the north, into the hands of Bartholomew Kirkpatrik, one of the bailies of the said burgh, in favour of Stephen Prestoune, who thereupon received sasine thereof from the said bailie; & (2) an annualrent of six shillings and eight pence Scots furth of the tenement of Nicol Colquhone lying in the said burgh, between the tenement of the said Stephen Prestoun on the south and the tenement of Colin Fergussone on the north, into the hands of said bailie in favour of the said Nicol Colquhone, who thereupon received sasine thereof from the bailie. Done on the ground of said lands on 17th February 1527 |
