Title |
Instrument of Resignation under the hand of John Chalmer, clerk, of the diocese of St. Andrews, notary public, narrating that Florence Harvie, servant to Sir James Cunninghame of Milncraig, procurator for the deceased Andrew McAdam, Writer in Edinburgh, resigned into the hands of Sir James C. ad perpetuam remanentiam the four merkland of Constableland lying in the parish of Dalmellingtoun, Kings Kyle, and sheriffdom of Ayr; proceeding on procuratory of resignation in a disposition (dated 28 October 1697) by John Montgomery of Bridgend, with consent of George Montgomery, his eldest son, and the said Andrew McAdam, and by McAdam with consent of the Montgomerys, to Sir David Cunninghame of Milncraig, advocate. Done in the said Sir James Cunningham's dwelling-house of Livingstone on 3rd January 1741 |
