Title |
Contract of Marriage between John Booge in Northfoot and Elizabeth Drwmmond in Brightownscraigs, whereby it is provided that the spouses are to be secured in a liferent of the whole estate, heritable and moveable, of the husband and the survivor in one half thereof, with the fee to the children of the marriage, and that John Boog son of the said Johne Boog and Jonnet Simpson, his first wife, shall receive the sum of 50 merks with "ane bedding of cloaths and a chist" whenever he completes 21 years of age or is married in full satisfaction of all he can claim through his father's decease.
