Instrument under the hand of Quintin Mwr, presbyter of the diocese of Glasgow, notary public, narrating that John, Lord Cathkert, compeared in presence of the notary and faithfully promised that should he or his heirs or assignees redeem the 2 merklands of old extent of Stobenoch with pertinents, lying in the barony of Sundrum within the sheriffdom of Ayr, in terms of letter of reversion to be granted by Bartholomew Craufurd of Kers, the said Bartholomew and his heirs should have full ingress and regress in and to said lands, and should have the same for the services which he rendered therefor to him before the alienations thereof.
