Title |
Precept of Clare Constat by Sir James Cunnynghame of Milncraig, Baronet, for infefting James Semple, son of Gilbert Semple in Milnholm and Barbara Dalrymple, his spouse, as heir to them in (1) the merkland of old extent of Gawblair, with the piece of land adjacent thereto called Gawblairhill, and (2) the forty penny land of old extent of Houlletland, with the piece of meadow in the west part of the meadow called Drumiles-meadow, lying in the Burrowfield of Air within the parish and sheriffdom of the same, and held of him as superior in place of the late John Chalmers of Gaitgirth. The writ, which was written by Andrew Slowane, servitor of Robert Wallace of Holmstoun, W.S., is neither dated nor signed. Date on back 1719 |
