Scroll of Agreement between Magdalen, Dame Jannet, Dame Mary and Elizabeth, sisters of Sir James Rochead of Inverleith, Baronet, with consent of Mr James Cathcart of Carbeistoun, husband of Magdalen, Sir David Dalrymple of Haills, Bart., H. M. Advocate, husband of Dame Jannet, and Sir Frances Kinloch of Gilmertoun, Bart., husband of Dame Mary, with regard to their respective rights under the Deed of Tailzie by the late Sir James Rochead of Inverleith, Bart., their father, in favour of the said Sir James Rochead, his only son, whom failing, themselves, of the lands of Inverleith and Darnchester, and also under contract entered into with their said brother in regard to the Deed of Tailzie. It is also provided that Magdalen, Jannet and Mary were to convey their three-fourth parts of the lands and barony of Inverleith to Elizabeth in order that she might make a tailzie and settlement of the same in favour of herself and the heirs whatsoever of her body.
