Title |
Instrument of Sasine under the hand of Andrew Leckie, clerk of the diocese of Dunblane, notary public, following upon and narrating the precept of sasine in a heritable bond of corroboration (dated at Bridge-end of Inchie 11 August 1715) by James Grahame, younger of Gartur, whereby he bound and obliged himself to infeft Marrie Grahame and Marrion Grahame, only lawful children alive procreated of the marriage of John Grahame in Blairsessnoch and Jean McFarlan, his spouse, in an annualrent of 100 merks furth of his lands of Ward of Goodie (possessed by George Morrissone) lying in the parish of Port, stewartry of Monteath and sheriffdom of Pearth; the principal sum of 2000 merks Scots contained in the said bond being divided between the said Marrie and Marrion in proportions to be defined by their tutors and curators, James Grahame, elder of Gartur, David Forrester of Polder, John Grahame of McKenstoun and George Grahame in Gartforran, friends on their father's side, and the said Jean McFarlan, Andrew McFarlan of Gartartan, Alexander McFarlane yr. of Gartartan, John McFarlan, second lawful son of the said Andrew McFarlane, and Robert Grahame, brother german of Alexander Grahame of Duchray, friends on their mother's side. Sasine given, on 23rd December 1715, by James Forrester, brother german of David Forrester of Polder, bailie of the granter, to the said Robert Graham, attorney for the grantees |

Witnesses to the bond, Walter Kear, miller at Milne of Cardross, and Andrew Leckie, writer at Deshers. Witnesses to the sasine, James Forrester, eldest lawful son of the said David Forrester of Polder, Andrew McFarlan in Gartartan, John Murdoch in Glentirran and Joseph McCulloch, servitor to the notary.
