Title |
Translation by Anna Bruce, Mistress of Beilhaven, with consent of John, Master of Belhaven, her husband, transferring to Sir Peter Halket of Pittfirran alias Wedderburn of Gosfoord the sum of 1000 merks of principal and 200 merks of expenses etc. contained in a bond (dated 17 and 18 December 1700) by the late Sir James Halket of Pitfirran, as principal, and the late Sir Patrick Murray of Pedinnes, as cautioner, in favour of Andrew Bruce, bailie of Edinburgh, her father, and to which she has right as heir served and retoured to him conform to retour dated 8 August 1704 and as executrix confirmed by the Commissaries of Edinburgh on 29 August following.
