Title |
Instrument of Sasine under the hand of John Drummond, clerk, of Dunblane [diocese], notary public, following upon and narrating the precept of sasine in a heritable bond of corroboration (dated at Edinburgh 15 February 1705) by Thomas Clarksone of Cousland, whereby, in corroboration of a bond granted by John Mathisone portioner of Broughtoune to umquhile Thomas Caddell, lorimer, in Keir, he bound and obliged himself to infeft the said Thomas Caddell in an annualrent of £46:18: - Scots (or in an annualrent corresponding to the principal sum of £782:13: 8) furth of the lands of Cousland lying in the parish of Livingstoune, sheriffdom of Bathgate, bounds of Linlithgow and barony of Renfrew. Sasine given on 17 February 1705 by John Meak, tenant in Livingstoune, bailie of the granter, to William Schaw, shoemaker in Livingstoune, attorney for Thomas Caddell, gunsmith in [Doune], son of the said umquhile Thomas |
