Title |
Instrument of Sasine under the hand of Thomas Fleming, clerk, of the diocese of Edinburgh, notary public, following upon and narrating the precept of sasine in a bond (dated 19 July 1700) by Patrick Moray of Livingston whereby he bound and obliged himself to infeft (1) William Wardrop in Easter Calderhead, in liferent, in an annualrent of £120 Scots furth of his lands and baronies of Livingston and Blackburne, lying in the parish of Livingstone and sheriffdoms of Linlithgow and Bathgate, and (2) Thomas and John, sons of the said William, in fee, (in the proportion of £80 to the former and £40 to the latter), redeemable on payment of the principal sum of 3000 merks. Sasine given on 20 June 1704 by Alexander Bryce, servitor to James Christy in Cousland, bailie of the granter, to the said William Wardrop for himself and as attorney for his sons |
