Extract (uncertified) from the Books of Council and Session of Bond by Captain Philip Anstruther of Newgrange whereby he binds himself to deliver up to James Taylor, W. S., by 15th May next (1) bond of relief granted by Sir John Dempster of Pitliver to James Holburne of Menstrie, his cautioner in a bond (dated 5th July 1606) for 2000 merks Scots granted to James Galbreath of Balgair and (2) discharge and assignation of the cautionry granted by the said James Galbreath to Holburne.
