Title |
Charter under the Great Seal of Queen Anne, with consent of James, Duke of Queensberrie, Lord High Commissioner for Scotland, and others, commissioners of her Treasury, etc., confirming (1) bond (dated 28th May 1701) by the late Patrick Murray of Livingstoun, whereby, in consideration of the sum of 4440 merks 6 shillings and 8 pence Scots due by him to George Douglas of Friershaw, he bound and obliged himself to infeft him in an annualrent of £162: 8: 8 Scots furth of the lands and barony of Breich and the teinds thereof lying in the parish of Livingston and sheriffdom of Linlithgow, and (2) instrument of sasine, GD86/804.
