Title |
Instrument of Sasine under the hand of Gavin Jameson, clerk, of the diocese of Edinburgh, notary public, following upon and narrating the precept of sasine in a bond (dated at Edinburgh 24th December 1702) by the deceased Patrick Murray of Livingston, whereby, in consideration of the sum of 4000 merks Scots, he bound and obliged himself to infeft Lieutenant Colonel William Sharp in the Foot Guards in an annualrent of £160 Scots furth of the lands and barony of Livingstoun, with the teinds thereof, lying in the parish of Livingstone and sheriffdom of Linlithgow, Sasine given, on 8th April 1703, by John Finlay in Little Dechmont, bailie of the granter, to Michael Cook, one of the soldiers of the Foot Guards, attorney for the said Lieutenant Colonel William Sharp |
