Title |
Instrument of Sasine under the hand of William Robertsone, clerk, of the diocese of Edinburgh, notary public, following upon and narrating the precept of sasine in a bond (dated at Edinburgh 22 January 1701) by Patrick Murray of Livingstoun, whereby he bound and obliged himself to infeft Margaret Hamilton, Lady Bangour, in an annualrent of £140 Scots (being the ordinary annualrent on the principal sum of 3500 merks Scots) furth of his lands and baronies of Livingstoun and Meikle Blaikburn, lying in the sheriffdom of Linlithgow. Sasine given by William Reid [tenant] in Meikle Dechmont, bailie of the granter, on 7th April 1703, to Alexander Whyte in Bangour, procurator for the said Margaret Hamiltone, of said annual rent furth of the templelands of Newyearfield and patronage of the kirk of Livingstoun, the kirklands of Livingstoun, and the lands of Carmondean which are a part of the lands and barony of Livingstoun |

Description |
Witnesses to the bond, William Ker, son of the deceased William Ker, clerk of Linlithgow, and William Bell, clerk of Linlithgow. Witnesses to the sasine, Henry Guild, writer, Edinburgh, Patrick Nicoll, tenant in the West Maines of Bangour, John Geddes, gardener in Bangour, and John Adam, weaver there.
