Title |
Instrument of Sasine under the hand of Alexander McDermeit, clerk, of the diocese of Glasgow, notary public, following upon and narrating (1) the precept of sasine in a charter under the Great Seal Vol. 75, No. 51 (dated at Kensingtoune 28 April 1698 a.r. 10) granting to Hugh Mure, brother german of John Mure of Auchindraine, the 8 merklands of Minihagen and Kirmein and the £10 land of Auchindraine described in No. GD86/771, and (2) disposition No. GD86/771. Sasine given of the said 8 merklands of Minihagen and Kirmein at the manor place of Nether Monihagen and upon the ground of said lands of Keirmein, on 22nd October 1698, by Hugh Campbell in Sandhill, sheriff in that part of the sheriffdom of Ayr, to Mr. David Cunynghame of Milncraig, advocate |

Witnesses to the sasine, James Mure, eldest son of the said John Mure of Auchindrain, John Hair in Rankinstoun, Andrew McAdam, servitor of the said Mr. David Cunynghame, and William Keir, indweller in Ayr.
