Title |
Instrument of Resignation under the hand of Robert Bell, clerk, of the diocese of Glasgow, notary public, narrating that James Irving, one of the ordinary macers of Council and Exchequer, compeared, in presence of the Lords of His Majesty's Thesaurie and Exchequer, and there, in terms of a procuratory of resignation contained in the disposition No. GD86/771, resigned the 8 merkland of Monyhagen and Keirmein and the £10 land of Auchindrein with the mill thereof into their hands in favour of Heugh Moor, brother of John Moor of Auchindrein, to whom the said Lords of new disponed the said lands in terms of a charter to be granted to him under the Great Seal. Done in the upper room of the new parliament or session house within the burgh of Edinburgh on 28th January, 1698 |
