Title |
Instrument under the hand of Robert Foulis, clerk of the diocese of St. Andrews, notary public, narrating Retour of an Inquest made at Levinstoune before Schir Patric Hamilton of Kyncavill, knight, sheriff principal of Linlithqw, upon certain articles contained in letters under the Signet, finding that Willizam of Leremonth should not have by his son's ward the one-half of the Manys of Levinstoun, the one-half of the ward of Levinstoun or the one half of the myll of Levinstoun, because Augnes Levinstoun, his spouse, resigned said lands into the hands of Mr. Bertilmo Levinstoun to remain with him and his heirs; and declaring that the said lands should remain with the said Mr. Bertilmo and his heirs in heritage. Done in the town of Levinstoun on 26 February 1515-16 |
