Title |
Instrument of Sasine (defective) under the hand of John Fergussone, clerk, of the diocese of Glasgow, notary public, following upon and narrating the precept of sasine in a letter of disposition (dated at Air 5th January 1692) by Hew Montgomerie, elder, and William Montgomerie, younger, of Bridgend, whereby, with consent of Isobell Burnett, spouse of the said William, they disponed to John Montgomerie of Beoch, the 4 merkland of Constableland of old extent lying in the parish of Dalmellingtoun, King's Kyle, and sheriffdom of Air, with the teinds thereof [and their desks or seats in the parish church.] Sasine given upon the ground of said lands on 22nd [October 1692] by John Neill [in Maynes of Blairstoun] to the said John Montgomerie |
