Warrant of Visitation by Arthur, Archbishop of St. Andrews, requiring the Moderator and the remainder of the brethren of the Presbytery of Chernsid, or any three or four of them, to pass to the parish church and parish of Edrum on 17 November 1687 and there by the advice of sworn workmen, masons and wrights, to estimate the melioration of the manse and offices and to consider if they, and also the Glebe, are sufficient conform to the acts of Parliament thereanent; with power if necessary to stent the heritors proportionally conform to their valued rents.
