Title |
Instrument of Sasine under the hand of Robert Rind, clerk, of the diocese of Edinburgh, notary public, following upon and narrating the precept of sasine in a bond (dated at Stirling 9th November 1678) by John Young and Robert Young, portioners of Midle Barnego, whereby, in consideration of the sum of 600 merks Scots borrowed by them from John Crawford, smith in Sauchie, they bound and obliged themselves to infeft him in an annualrent of £24 Scots furth of their half of the lands of Midle Barnego, lying in the barony of Herbershyre and sherrifdom of Stirling. Sasine given upon the ground of said lands, on 23rd August 1686, by William Bow in Burne of Sauchie, bailie of the granters, to the said John Crawford |

Witnesses to the bond, Robert Rind, writer in Stirling, William Rind, Town Clerk of Stirling, and James Burd, his servitor. Witnesses to the sasine, James Baird, elder, merchant, burgess of Stirling, John Bow in Sauchie, John Bow, son of the said William Bow, and James Crawford in Burne of Canglor.
