Title |
Instrument of Sasine under the hand of Andrew Archibald, clerk, of the diocese of Glasgow, notary public, following upon and narrating the precept of sasine in an assignation and disposition (dated 7 June 1686) granted by Adam Mwir, son of the deceased Adam Mwir, merchant in Killmarnock, with consent of James Mwir, his brother german, to Thomas Kennedy, Doctor of Medicine in Glasgow, of an annualrent of £80 Scots furth of the 20 shilling land of Cambuskeith (part of the £10 land of old extent of Cambuskeith) in the parish of Kilmarnock, bailiary of Cwninghame and sheriffdom of Ayr: which annualrent was constituted by (1) bond for 2000 merks (dated 11th November 1665) granted by David Cwninghame of Cambuskeith to the said Adam Mwir, elder, in liferent, and to the said James Mwir and Hellein, his sister, in fee, and (2) Instrument of sasine following thereon (No. GD86/649). Sasine given on 9 June 1686 by Alexander Galt in Killmarnock, bailie of the granter, to the said Dr. Thomas Kennedy |

Description |
Witnesses to the assignation, John Dalrymple in Killmarnock, Hugh Archibald of Dankeith, W.S., and John Allan, his servitor. Witnesses to the sasine, Alexander Muir, son of Alexander Muir, merchant in Killmarnock, John Dallrymple there, the said John Allan, John Dickie, tailor in Killmarnock, and John Lamont, servitor to the notary.
