Title |
Instrument of Resignation under the hand of John Cunynghame, notary public, narrating that John Hendersone, one of the ordinary macers of Exchequer, compeared in presence of James, Earl of Perth, Lord High Chancellor of Scotland, and the other commissioners of Thesaurie and Exchequer, and there in virtue of the procuratory of resignation contained in letters of disposition (dated 25th February 1686) by John, Earl of Glencairne, disponing to Mr. David Cunynghame of Milncraige, his heirs and assignees, the lands of Over and Nether Drumurchies, Darley and Fell, and the ten shilling land of Fertor, with houses, teinds etc. lying in the parish of Barr, bailiary of Carrick and sheriffdom of Air, resigned the said lands into the hands of the said commissioners in favour of the said Mr. David Cunynghame, to whom the chancellor gave said lands again by redelivery of the staff and baton into the hands of the said John Hendersone. Done in the High Council and Exchequer House of Edinburgh on - April 1686 |
