Title |
Instrument of Sasine (defective) under the hand of John Fergussoun, clerk, of the diocese of Glasgow, notary public, following upon and narrating the precept of sasine in a disposition (dated 30 January 1684) by Mr. William Adair, minister of the gospel at Air, whereby he disponed inter alia to William Adair, his only lawful son, a yearly annualrent corresponding to the sum of 2000 merks Scots (being the balance of the sum of 3500 merks due by John Chalmer of Gaitgirth to the granter) furth of the lands of Mylnetoun, mill lands, mill etc. lying in the parish of Coiltoun, barony of Martnaham and sheriffdom of Air. Sasine given upon the ground of said lands and within the mill on 31 January 1684, by Robert Campbell in Cloncaird, bailie of the granter, to the said William Adair |

Witnesses to the sasine, Alexander Adair, stationer in Air, James Patersoun, armourer there, Andro Lausoun, shoemaker there, Hew Dick, officer there, and Robert Campbell, servitor to John Gibson, cooper there.
