Title |
Assignation by Mistress Jeane Maxwell, daughter of the deceased James, Master of Maxwell, whereby, in considration of the sum of £12 Sterling paid to her by the provost and bailies of the burgh of Dumfries, she constituted them her cessioners and assignees in and to (1) the sum of £12 Sterling, being part of a greater sum contained in a Decreet obtained at her instance before the Lords of Council and Session against Mr. William Maxwell of Springkell, and (2) the following writs, but only so far as they concern the said sum, viz:- the said Decreet, a Decreet of Adjudication obtained by her against the said Mr. William Maxwell, and Decreet obtained by her against Mr. Heary Crightoun, the tenant.
