Title |
Instrument under the hand of Thomas Cok, presbyter of the diocese of St. Andrews, notary public, narrating that Patrick Hammiltoun, bailie and sheriff of the lands of Levinstoune, passed to the said lands and there sitting as a judge and in presence of James Dowglas Agnes Levinstoune and Mariot Lewinstone, the three heirs of the said lands, lots were cast for the division of the said lands; and that lots having been cast, the following portions of the said lands fell to the said Mariot, viz:- the middle part of the lands of Levinstoune of "le coniuncfeftment" lying on the west side of the lands of Levinstoune and of the third part of the 14 merk lands the half of the town of Lewinstoun, the third part of the 14 merk lands lying on the east side of the lands of Alexander Richertsoun near the lands of Brech, and the south part of the lands of Staniburne. Robert Thomsoun, procurator for the said Mariot, asked instruments from the notary. Done on said lands on 18th March 1512-13 |
