Title |
Instrument of Sasine under the hand of John Fergussone, clerk, of the diocese of Glasgow, notary public, following upon and narrating the precept of sasine in a bond of corroboration (dated at Gaitgirth 4 February 1676) by which John Chalmers of Gaitgirth, in security of the principal sum of 1000 merks, bound and obliged himself to infeft David Din in Bargenoch and Agnes Rankine, his spouse, and the longest liver of them in liferent and conjunct fee and the heirs lawfully to be procreated between them, whom failing, the said David Din's nearest lawful heirs and assignees whomsoever, in the ten shilling land of Bowbogsyd, (possessed by the said David Din) lying in the barony of Mertnachame, Kings Kyle and sheriffdom of Air; the annual rent payable on the principal sum being deducted from the rent of said lands. Sasine given upon the ground of said lands, on 14 February 1676, by John Crawfurd, brother german of David Crawfurd of Trivinax, bailie in that part, to the said David Din for himself and spouse |
