Title |
Extract from the Books of Exchequer of Disposition by James, Earl of Loudoun, with consent of the Lords Commissioners of His Majesty's Exchequer, narrating (1) the terms of an Act of Parliament held at Edinburgh in the month of June 1633 (cap. 15) vesting in the person of King Charles I. the annuity due to him furth of the teinds of Scotland; (2) Commission under the Great and Privy Seals (dated at York 17[?7] May 1642) granting power to John, Earl of Loudoun, to sell the said annuity to ant of His Majesty's subjects, and (3) Similar Commission under the Great Seal (dated at Whythall 12th May 1671) in favour of the granter. He, therefor, in consideration of the sum of 800 merks Scots paid to him by Johne Crafourd of Camlarge, disponed to him the annuity due furth of the teinds of the following lands (the mills thereof being excepted) viz:- the 20½ merkland of the barony of Dallmellingtoune (pertaining to Lord Cathcart) the 6 merkland of Rerichill and Drumgrange (pertaining to Mr. Johne Schau), the 2 merkland of Pennie-arthour (pertaining to Johne Schau of Grimmett), the 2 merkland of Yerrou (pertaining to Androu Mcadam and James Gibsone) the 2 merkland of Leffanhill (pertaining to Robert Dunkerse), the 2 merkland of Penny-arthour, the 2 merkland of Dallfarsoun, the half merkland of Keirmein, the 20 shilling land of Glenmuck and Cleyhirles, the 4 merkland of Camlarge, the 2 merkland of Knockskaith and the merkland of Gaitsyde (pertaining to the grantee), the 4 merkland of Dallharkine (pertaining to) and the 4 merkland of Constable (pertaining to Johne Montgumrie in Bridgend) all lying in the parish of Dallmellingtoune and sheriffdom of Air.
