Title |
I. Petition of Margarat Halden, relict of James Sterling, baron of Achylle, addressed to the Lord Commissioner and to the Lords of His Majesty's Privy Council, craving that the commander of the party appointed for quartering upon deficients should forbear from troubling and molesting the petitioner for the fine imposed on her husband, who died in the month of April 1658 "long before the act of fynes and swa could not be comprehended within the said act". No date and unsigned.
II. Order by the Earl of Rothes, addressed to the commander of the party anent fines in Perthshire, commanding him to forbear from troubling the petitioner until the matter be further tried. At Leslie April 1666 |
