Extract of Decreet of the Lords of Council and Session in the action at the instance of Margret Johnstoune, relict and executrix of George Baillie of Jerreswood, against Robert Home of Kimmerghame, son and heir of the late George Home, brother-german of the late Sir Patrick Home of Polwart, knight, decerning the defender to pay to the pursuer the sum of 600 merks Scots of principal and 100 merks of liquidate expenses contained in obligation (dated 13th March 1626) granted by the said George Home, as principal, and Dame Juliane Ker, Countess of Melrose, his cautioner, in favour of the said George Baillie (therein designed merchant, burgess of Edinburgh).
