Title |
Instrument of Sasine under the hand of William McKinlay, clerk, of the diocese of Dunblane, notary public, following upon and narrating a precept of sasine in a disposition (dated at Ballentone 25th November, 1661) by Mr. Thomas Napeir, formerly servitor to Lord Napeir and now indweller in Ballocharne, granting to John Napeir in Murdochstoune, his heirs and assignees, an annual-rent of £20 Scots furth of the lands of Auchyle lying in the stewartry of Monteithe and sheriffdom of Perth, redeemable on payment of the sum of 500 merks. Sasine given upon the ground of said lands by William Napier in Mylneling, bailie of the granter, to the said John Napier on 16th January 1663 |

Witnesses to the disposition, Gavine Norie, fiar of Noristoune, Mr. Thomas Forrester, minister of Kincardine, and Mr. Walter Moir, writer in Doune. Witnesses to the sasine, William Grahame of Boquhopill, Donald Blair in Auchyle, Patrick McGrewer and John Fraser, indwellers in Milneling.
