Title |
Instrument of Sasine under the hand of Andrew Crawfurd, clerk, of the diocese of St. Andrews, notary public, following upon and narrating the precepts of sasine in (1) Obligation (dated at Edinburgh 2nd November 1654) by William Hammiltoun of Pitcanie, whereby, in security of the sum of 2000 merks Scots, he bound and obliged himself to infeft Mary Stewart, daughter of Archibald Stewart of Hasilside, and Grisell Hammiltoun, his relict, in an annual-rent of £80 Scots furth of the kirklands of Eglishmachan, lying in the parish of Eglishmachan and sheriffdom of Linlithgow, and (2) Obligation (dated at Edinburgh 25th February 1660) by the said William Hammiltoun (therein designed of Binnie) whereby, in security of the sum of 1000 merks, he bound and obliged himself to infeft the said Grisell Hammiltoun and Mary Stewart in an annual-rent of £40 Scots furth of said kirklands.
