Assignation by Mr. Thomas Naper in Ballochairne, whereby, for a certain sum of money, he sells and assigns to [Johne Napier] (1) bond (dated 25th February 1653 and registered in the Court Books of Justice 10th November 1654) granted by the deceased James Stirling of Achyll, as principal, and the deceased Patrick Monteith of Arnbeg, his cautioner, for the sum of 500 merks Scots of principal and £50 of liquidate expenses; (2) bond of corroboration No. GD86/625, granted in security thereof; and (3) Instrument of Sasine following thereon No. GD86/626.
