Title |
Revocation by Elizabeth Glendonyng, daughter and heir served and retoured to William Glendonyng of Gelstoun and relict of George Glendonyng yr. of Partoun and Johne Maxwell, second lawful son of Johnne, Lord Herreis, now her spouse, for his interest, narrating that she, for the reverence she bore to her first husband, was moved by him, and after many and great threatenings compelled to grant sundry dispositions of the lands and heritages to which she succeeded through the death of her father and to burden the same with diverse sums of money and annualrents, and that she was "now of the aige of fyftene zeiris far within the aige of tuentie ane zeiris" and so had the benefit of revocation: They therefore revoked and renounced all infeftments, sasine, dispositions and other writs granted by her to her "enorme hurt and lesioun", and protested that they should be noways hurtful or prejudicial to her.
