Title |
Discharge by Mr. John Drummond of Lenno[c]h, factor for John, Earl of Hadingtoun, conform to Letters of Factory in his favour dated - and registered - April 1654, granting that he had received from Mr. Adame Counaygham of Woodhall in name and behalf of Cristaine Forrett and Mr. John Cambell, her spouse, the sum of £20 Scots in full and complete payment of the yearly feuduty of 40 shillings Scots due to the said Earl as lord of the erected lordship of Melrois furth of the lands of Dargavell in the parish and sheriffdom of Dumfris, for the terms of Whitsunday and Martinmas 1656 and all preceding terms, and discharging him thereof.
