Title |
Charter of Sale by David Crawfurd of Kers, with consent of Williame Crawfurd, eldest lawful son and heir of the late Quenteine Crawfurd in Selihoill, whereby, in implement of letters of disposition (of the date of these presents) granted by them in favour of Alexander Crawfurd of Nethir Skeldoun, and for payment of the sum of eighteen thousand merks Scots contained therein, they disponed to him/his heirs and assignees, the lands of Anniean, the half lands of Schalloch, the lands of Auchinreoch, the lands of Glenheid with the corn-miln of Carrickmuir and astricted multures etc., comprehending the lands commonly called Dalcarny, extending to an eight merkland of old extent, lying in the parish of Stratoun, earldom of Carrick and sheriffdom of Air, with the maills fermes and other duties of the same for the crop and year 1655: To be held either of the granter or his immediate superior, for payment to the granter, while this charter remains unconfirmed, of one penny Scots, and thereafter to his said immediate superior of 2 bolls wheat and a pair of white spurs, as the proportional part of the blench duties agreed to be paid furth of said lands, according to the division: With precept of sasine addressed to Duncane Craufurd in Sillihoill.
