Title |
Instrument of Sasine (in Scots) under the hand of Andro Sloand, notary public, one of the clerks within the diocese of Glasgow, following upon and narrating a Precept of Clare Constat (dated at Langschaw 9th December 1653) by Neill Montgomerrie of Langschaw, addressed to Thomas Slois in Dallmelingtoune of Dalharkow, his bailie in that part, for infefting Hew Montgomerie, son of Johne Montgomerrie fiar of Brigend and Elizabeth Baxter, his spouse, as nearest and lawful heir of his said father in the 4 merkland of old extent of Constable, lying in Kings Kyll and sheriffdom of Air. Sasine given upon the ground of said lands, on 10th July 1654 by the said bailie to Hew Montgomerie in Croghbeae, attorney for the said Hew Montgomerie of Brigend |
