Title |
Letters of Horning and Poinding under the Signet of Charles II, obtained at the instance of Sir Archibald Prymros of Chesteris, knight, charging James, Viscount of Frendraucht, Lord Chrichtoune, principal, and Robert Dunbar of Burgie, James Crichtoune of Kinnardie and Robert Collace of Chapeltoune, his cautioners, to make payment to him of the sum of 2000 merks of principal and 200 merks of expenses and annualrent contained in the following bonds to which the complainer acquired right by assignation dated 11th April 1650, viz: (1) bond (dated 15th February 1645 and registered in the Books of Council and Session 13th April 1650) by Viscount Frendraucht and cautioner in favour of Mr. James Prymros, clerk to the Privy Council, therein designed lawful son of the late James Prymros, clerk to the Privy Seal, his brother, and (2) bond of corroboration (dated 11th August 1647 and registered in the Books of Council and Session 17th February 1649) by the said Viscount and his cautioners in favour of the said Mr. James Prymros; with power to poind and distrain etc. At Edinburgh 13th April 1650 a.r. 2 |
