Title |
Disposition (fragment) by Johne, Earl of Loudoun, Lord High Chancellor of Scotland, with consent of the Commissioners of His Majesty's Exchequer, whereby, in terms of a commission under the Great and Privy Seals, dated at York 7 May 1642, and in consideration of the sum of £450 Scots paid to them by Johne Stirling of Harbertscheyr, they sold and disponed to him the annuity due to the late King Charles I. and to the present king furth of the teinds of the following lands viz:- (1) Littill Denny, Cuitheltoun and Heids-wood lying in the parish of Denny and sheriffdom of Stirling; (2) the lands of Harbertschyre lying in the parish of Donnypace and sheriffdom foresaid; (3) the lands of Littill Sauchie lying in the parish of St. Ninianis and sheriffdom foresaid; and (4) the lands of Powhouse lying in the parish of Logie and sheriffdom of Clackmannane.
