Title |
Copy Charter under the Great Seal granting to Thomas Striviling the lands of Auchill with pertinents, extending to a forty shilling land of old extent, lying in the stewartry of Menteith and sheriffdom of Perth, within the lands pertaining to the Earl of Menteith [on every side] about the same, between the burn of [Black Mun]braky on the east, the lands of Mullen and the whole marsh [called the "Mosbuk"] on the south, the ["Blakburne"] on the west, and the Stanebutts [Stane burne] of Cragmoir on the north; which lands pertained to the said Thomas in feu-farm and were resigned by him into the hands of the King at Edinburgh: To be held de nobis, rendering annually a suit at the court of the Stewartry of Menteith and ward relief and marriage when they fall due.
