Precept from the Chancery of King Charles I. addressed to his bailie of Cunynghame, and his deputes, for infefting Margaret Cunynghame, eldest sister-german of John Cunynghame of Cambuskeythe, as heir of her said brother in one-third part of the £10 land of old extent of Cambuskeythe, lying on the north side of the water of Irwing as the same now runs, with tower, manor-place, mill etc. within the bailiary of Cunynghame and sheriffdom of Air; taking security for £7: 2: 4d Scots for a double of the feu-farm of the said third part due to the King as prince and steward of Scotland.
