Title |
Minute of Submission by William Maxwell and Hew Maxwell, lawful sons of James Maxwell of Cullnachtrie, whereby they bind and oblige themselves to submit to Robert, Earl of Nithisdaill, all questions between them and Robert Maxwell, their brother, especially concerning the lands of Cullnachtrie and Auchinleck, arising under their mother's contract of marriage. It is provided that in case they should refuse to go to Drumfreis or Carlawerock to hear the Earl's decree, their right and claim to the said lands of Cullnachtrie should be discharged.
