Bond by Eduard Maxuell of Balmanigane, brother-german of Sir William Bailzie of Lammington, knight, granting that he had received from Johne Broune at Brigend of Drumfreis the sum of 200 merks Scots, which he as principal and Jeames Maxuell of Braikensyde and Robert Maknaicht of Kilquannatite, his cautioners, bound and obliged themselves to repay to the said Johne Brune and Agnis Norvell (?), his spouse, and the longest liver of them, whom failing, to Jeaine Broune, their lawful daughter; with clause of relief in favor of the cautioners.
