Letters of Admission by Patrick, bishop of Aberdeen and chancellor of the University thereof, admitting to the prebend and office of grammarian in the said University Mr. John Lundy, M. A., who is to teach Grammar, Poetry and Rhetoric, instruct the students in learning and morals, and chastise delinquents: which prebend was vacant through the demission of Mr. George Mylne, the said Mr. John Lundy being presented by the electors after examination in which he was found skillful in Grammar, Rhetoric and Poetry. He commands any support of the University to induct him to the office and to the lands, houses and emoluments thereof. At the Bishop's Palace of Aberdeen 16 March 1634 |
